Cash or Fly Rewards Program: How do I earn Points?
As an HSBC Platinum MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards Cardmember you will earn one Point for every dollar charged in new net retail purchases to your HSBC MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards Card (net purchases refers to all purchases made using your HSBC MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards, less refunds, returns, credits and plus or minus any adjustments to your Account rounded to the nearest cent).

What are my points worth?
As an HSBC Platinum MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards Cardmember you will earn one Point for every dollar charged in new net retail purchases to your HSBC MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards. Program Points can be redeemed for cash at 1%, in multiples of $100. For example, 10,000 Points equates to $100. Or, redeem your Points for a ticket on any airline, subject to availability,at the following Point levels and corresponding Maximum Dollar Value (MDV): 1 roundtrip ticket within the 48 continental United States: 25,000 Points / $400 MDV. 1 roundtrip ticket from 48 states to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas or Bermuda: 35,000 Points / $600 MDV. 1 roundtrip ticket from 48 states to international destinations other than those mentioned above: 50,000 Points / $800 MDV. There are no blackout dates or seat limitations; however, seats are subject to availability. Arrangements must be made through our dedicated travel agent.

When can I begin redeeming my points?
For Cash: Program Points can be redeemed for cash at 1%, in multiples of $100. As soon as you accumulate 10,000 points, which equates to $100, you may redeem your Points for cash. For example, if you have 15,000 Points, you may redeem them for $100. The remaining 5,000 Points will stay in your Account until you reach 10,000 Points. Or, you can choose to redeem the full $200 amount when your Points total 20,000. A check will be issued to the Primary accountholder and mailed to the billing address on record at the time of redemption.
